Right now, I think we have a chance to build a lot of momentum at just the right time. A win in South Carolina would propel us towards a big night on Super Tuesday, when there are more delegates at play than at any other point in this primary season.

And we feel good about South Carolina. The polls give us a lead. There's incredible energy at our events. And I'm proud of the debate performance I put in on Tuesday night right here in the Palmetto State.

But, it's not all roses. Both Tom Steyer and a pro-Trump GOP PAC are running negative ads about me on the air in South Carolina. And we have to be able to respond.
