Dear Friend,
Last week FiveThirtyEight reported the national polling data, but left me out entirely.
Written underneath their graph is that they're only reporting on "major candidates." |
My monthly average is 6.3%, and Quinnipiac today has me at 8%. Meanwhile, on the Republican side FiveThirtyEight reports on Vivek Ramaswamy at 7%, Nikki Haley at 5.9%, Mike Pence at 5.1%, Chris Christie at 3.2% and several others even lower.
FiveThirtyEight likes to brand itself as highly objective and committed to the data, but this situation contradicts that.
And this is how political elites control the narrative. Just as in the old Soviet Union, people are told "You have a choice – but we'll tell you what your choices are.” Mainstream media and analysts do the bidding of the elite, and have no listening for a candidate who wants the government to do the bidding of the people.
I’m actually a fairly moderate person. And the issues I’m standing for in this campaign are considered moderate in every other advanced democracy. The reason I'm blackballed is not because I’m “unserious” or “fringe” — the reason is because they know that if more people had a chance to hear our message, we would start a political wildfire.
Let’s start one anyway.
In order to keep rising in the polls, we need your financial support. The costs of a campaign are obscenely high, and we are doing extraordinarily well for a lean campaign.
For attaining ballot access in all states, opening field offices, and buying television ads — whether it’s $1.00 or $6,600.00 — your contribution will help create the breakthrough we need in order to win.
Please give what’s in your heart to give. Every dollar makes a difference.
Let’s take this country to our most beautiful chapter yet. |
