Today is Rosh Hashanah, one of the holiest Jewish holidays, when our Jewish neighbors at home and around the world celebrate the New Year.

Some of us on Team Rashida are Jewish, and in our synagogues, it’s tradition to donate food for food drives during the time between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

So today, we wanted to support a food pantry in Rashida Tlaib’s district: Mother’s Pantry in Inkster.

A client-choice food pantry, Mother’s Pantry enables clients to select their own food multiple times a month, much like a grocery store. This helps foster human dignity and ensures that people can choose what fits into their dietary needs.
