I wish I didn’t have to write this,
team, but I
just got out of a meeting with my finance team and it looks like we’ll
fall short of our mid-month goal tonight.
Look, I hate asking you for money. I really do. I know how hard you work
for every dollar and I know you have better things to do than read these
emails every day. But can I quickly explain why this matters?
Campaigns cost money. A heck of a lot of money. I wish they didn’t, but
this is what we’re working with. And if we want to continue getting stuff
done in the Senate, then I need to win this election. Plain and simple.
You see, Mitch McConnell and his allies are desperate to win this race
because they know if I lose, they’ll likely get their way in Congress.
That means attacking a woman’s right to make her own medical decisions,
lower wages, worse health care. You name it.
They’re already hammering me with vicious attacks. They’re trying to lie
about my record, distort my image, and change me into someone I’m not
because they can’t beat who I am.
And that’s where your $10, $25, and $100 comes in. Every donation you
make—no matter how big or small—helps us pay for staff, respond to
dishonest attacks, fund our TV ads, and invest in voter outreach efforts.
Your donation makes a difference in this race.
To try and win without your support? Well, that’s like trying to nail
jello to a tree.
[ [link removed] ]So today, I’m personally asking—not begging—you to make a donation to
my reelection campaign. Our deadline ends in just a few hours, but I’m
confident we can get there if you help us. Thanks in advance.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your
donation will go through immediately:

Mitch McConnell knows I won’t be a rubber stamp for anyone because I’ll
always do what’s best for Montana. Sometimes that means reaching across
the aisle, sometimes that means standing alone. But I’ll never back down
from a fight.
Thanks for having my back. I’ve got yours, too.
