Hey folks!

Just a reminder that this Sunday we’ll be at the Rally to End Fossil Fuels in Seattle alongside climate protesters with 350 Org, Extinction Rebellion Seattle, and a BUNCH of other area climate orgs.

This is a coordinated event with sister rallies happening all over the country – even the world! – ahead of the U.N.’s Climate Ambition Summit on September 20th.

My team and I will be on the ground to support the rally and, of course, to canvas the hell out of that crowd!

If you’re in Seattle, come join us in Seattle Center at 2pm. Just look for our bright green CALL FOR CONGRESS signs. We’ll be talking to voters and handing out fliers to spread the word about why this race is so important.

If you’re NOT in Seattle, I hope you can join one of these rallies near you. But you can also head over to TikTok where I’ll be live from the rally and you can follow along.

I just ordered a bunch of ink for my home printer to produce our fliers because, well, we’re on a budget. So if you’d like to chip in to cover our printing costs and help us raise another $10K before the end of September, I could really use your help today:

Thanks so much for following this campaign and supporting this race however you’re able to. We’ve got a real chance to make history in this district next year thanks to Washington’s unique non-partisan primary.

WA-02 is a VERY progressive district full of people who care deeply about the climate crisis. But for 22 years our congressman has been a former lobbyist with the singular distinction of being the favorite Democrat of the fossil fuel industry in Washington state.

Rick Larsen is not serious about global warming – or frankly, anything other than enriching his corporate donors. I’m fighting to save our home from wildfires and rising oceans so that my kids and yours can have a livable future.

This Sunday is an important opportunity to connect with people in our area who want a real climate champion in Congress. If you’re in the area I hope to see you there. And if not, a contribution in any amount would be a huge help.
