Our team is powered by small-dollar donations from grassroots supporters like you.
John, I can hardly believe that I'm writing this, but we're only 53 days out from Election Day. Here in Mississippi, my race to defeat Gov. Tate Reeves is heating up like never before – and I need your help.
Poll after poll has shown that this race is a dead heat – new data has us tied 46-46!
We're in the final stretch here: volunteers are knocking on doors, yard signs are going up all across Mississippi, and ads are running on TV and radio. We have to put the pedal to the metal here – not slow down. But right now, I'm falling critically short of my mid-month goal!
This is our final goal before our last end-of-quarter deadline. We can't afford to fall short or show any weakness: Please, will you split $3 between the Democratic Governors Association and my campaign? If you chip in before midnight, your gift to the DGA will be TRIPLED up to their $35,000 goal!
This is the crunch time, team – and you can bet that Tate Reeves won't be pulling any punches. He knows that the polls are tied. He knows that, as one of the most unpopular governors in the country, he's never been more vulnerable. He knows that Mississippi voters have had it with his failed leadership and lies. But he also knows that he has a huge fundraising advantage over our campaign.
That's why Reeves is filling the airwaves with attack ads against me. It's a desperate effort to distract from his own record (which includes the biggest corruption scandal in our state’s history!). But unfortunately, we just don't have enough resources to fight back and correct the record.
I'm going to speak plainly here: Tate Reeves and the GOP establishment are counting on grassroots Democrats like you to sit this one out. They're counting on you to write off Mississippi as a red state that we have no chance of winning. They're counting on you to give up before the first votes have even been cast.
John, I'm asking you to prove them wrong.
I know that this race is winnable – but only if grassroots folks like you step up right now to power this campaign across the finish line. Will you split a triple-matched gift between my campaign and the DGA to make sure that we have the resources that we need to defeat Tate Reeves? Please, team, I'm counting on you to believe in my campaign, in Mississippi, and in a better future for my state.
With immense gratitude,
Brandon Presley
Brandon Presley is a fighter who keeps his promises, stands up for the little guy, and isn’t afraid to ruffle more than a few feathers to deliver results for hardworking Mississippi families. He has dedicated his life to public service and became mayor of his hometown of Nettleton, where he cut taxes twice, balanced the budget, and helped bring in new jobs. He still lives in the house he grew up in outside Tupelo – he’s even Elvis Presley’s cousin!
Now, he’s running for governor to make the Magnolia State stronger for generations to come.
He needs your help, team. Will you answer his call to action before our critical mid-month deadline?
