Dear Kansas friends,

Thank you for your interest in receiving my newsletter. Please feel free to share this with your friends and family.
My Statement on House Republicans Opening an Impeachment Inquiry into President Biden
For the past eight months, the Oversight Committee has followed the facts and uncovered the truth about Joe Biden's influence-peddling schemes.

The evidence speaks for itself: Joe Biden used his "brand" to enrich his family, he lied to the American people about his involvement in foreign business dealings, and his own administration shut down legitimate investigations to protect the President and his family from facing justice.

Opening an impeachment inquiry is not something I take lightly, but holding elected officials accountable for their actions is the first step in restoring public trust in our institutions.

President Biden and his administration have left us no choice.
POW/MIA Recognition Day
Today is National POW/MIA Recognition Day.

I’m grateful for the men and women at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency who work tirelessly to provide the fullest possible accounting for the more than 81,000 servicemembers who remain missing from past conflicts.

We will never forget the American heroes who never returned home.

Committed to Serve
I'm back in DC after a few fantastic weeks of traveling the state and talking to Kansans from all across the Second District.

With a busy rest of the year ahead, I'm committed to fighting for commonsense Kansas values and pushing back against President Biden's failed policies.
Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act
I voted for the Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act—a bill to prevent the far left from forcing Americans to buy EVs and ditch their gas-powered cars.

I'm proud to cosponsor this bill because Kansans should get to choose what car they drive—not the federal government.
Joe Biden let taxpayer-funded border wall parts sit and rust while millions of illegal immigrants and thousands of pounds of drugs flowed into our country.

Now we are witnessing a desperate attempt by this failed administration to sell off these parts for a loss to avoid having to secure the border.

We must get to the bottom of this shameful dereliction of duty.

House Republicans
Passed HR 2
House Republicans passed HR 2 — the strongest border security package in
American history:

  • Restart construction of the border wall
  • End catch and release
  • Increase the number of Border Patrol agents
  • It's time for Democrats to act on this commonsense legislation.

It's time for Democrats to act on this commonsense legislation.
Remembering September 11th
We will never forget the 2,977 innocent civilians, 343 firefighters, and 72 law enforcement officers we lost 22 years ago on September 11, 2001.

God bless the millions of brave Americans who answered the call of duty to fight radical terrorism across the globe. May today be a reminder that freedom isn't free.
Kansas Chamber Congressional Fly-In
It was great spending time with the Kansas Chamber at their 2023 Congressional Fly-In this week!

We talked about the Appropriations process, cutting wasteful government spending, and how Congress can help roll back unnecessary regulations forced on our small businesses.
My staff will be all across KS-02 this month to help folks navigate our federal agencies and hear what issues are most concerning to Kansas families.
