‌When we win in November, it’ll be because of you ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Here on Team Long, we are building a truly diverse and inclusive movement.

From the start, we’ve been committed to running an operation that’s focused on improving people’s lives and to truly listening to our constituents. And John, it’s increasingly clear that our change campaign is not only a real shot at fair representation for Southwest Washingtonians -- it’s also a chance to overcome the obstruction that’s preventing progress on the issues we need action on: Affordable accessible health care, transparency in government, and holding Trump accountable for his actions.

Now that we’re nearly two months into 2020, we wanted to check in with you about where we’ve been of late -- and exactly how we’ve been working to lay down some new foundations for the future of our campaign.

We’re looking forward to all that’s to come! Here’s what we’ve been up to so far:

Four Coffees with Carolyn. From the outskirts of Yelm in Thurston county, to Ridgefield, the outskirts of Goldendale, and Chehalis, Carolyn has been meeting folks on their own turf to talk about the issues that matter to them. So far, we’ve discussed the real need for health care reform, for increased prescription drug affordability, and what it means to run a clean campaign -- that is, why it’s important to get corporate money out of politics and why we aren’t accepting a dime of corporate PAC money.

Two Cold Ones with Carolyn with supporters in Kelso and Bingen.

Countless other community events across the district -- from meetings with the Clark County National Federation of the Blind, the Clark County Veterans Assistance Center, and the NAACP in Vancouver, to the Women's March and the Lewis County Democrats meeting.

Thanks for being a part of this, and for signing on for all that's to come. We're here for it.

Onward!

-- Team Long
