Great news, John: Voto Latino just helped secure a major legal victory for Latino voters in Arizona!

Voto Latino is continuing to work across the country to reach Latino voters and protect access to the ballot box, including defending our rights in the pending trial in Arizona. Will you make a quick donation now to support these efforts?
PITCH IN! ([link removed])

Earlier this year, our team at Voto Latino joined a lawsuit in Arizona to challenge House Bill 2492, a voter suppression law passed after the 2020 election based on Donald Trump's Big Lie.

Yesterday, the court blocked key parts of the bill -- ruling in favor of Arizona voters. This means that Arizona cannot engage in several activities that block access to the ballot box, including:

- Requiring certain voters to provide documentary proof of citizenship (DPOC), or denying the right to vote early or by mail for failure to do so
- Denying voter registration to state-form applicants who fail to provide DPOC
- Denying registration to applicants who complete the citizenship checkbox but do not provide DPOC

We are still digesting the court's ruling and assessing what it means for our upcoming trial in November, but as of today two things are clear:

(1) Voters in Arizona secured a major victory today.

(2) There's still much work to do — both in Arizona and across the country — to defend voting rights.

{FirstName or 'Team'}}, the best way to defend our democracy is by making sure our communities show up on Election Day in massive numbers to make our voices heard. Will you pitch in now to help us continue building Latino voting power across the country?
