Breaking news this week, John:
Donald Trump’s attorney in the Georgia election interference case just filed a motion to dismiss Trump’s charges.
It’s no surprise that Trump is doing anything and everything he can to escape accountability.
This is who he is. He will divide, dissemble, and deny — and attack those he feels have held him accountable, people like me.
When he comes to California to hold an up to $23,200-per-couple fundraiser and rally the California Republican Party at their state convention right before the FEC deadline, he’ll be coming after me for leading the investigation of his Georgia election interference on the January 6 Select Committee — and we have to be prepared to respond.
Our FEC report will be seen as a direct reflection of whether grassroots Democrats are prepared to stand up to him.
