Aloha fellow Republicans,
On September 9th 2023 a Special State Committee meeting was held to serve as an election to fill the vacancy of State Chair and first Vice Chair of Coordinated Campaigns. The hybrid meeting was held at Headquarters with ZOOM participants online. Mahalo to Adriel Lam of the Hawai'i Election Integrity Project, Interim Chair (National Committee Woman) Laura Nakanelua and countless volunteers for making this effort a success.
Congratulations to Tamara McKay as our new State Chair, and Fenton Kaulana Lee as our new Vice Chair of Coordinated Campaigns.
This week Executive Committee and State Committee meetings were held to appoint and approve members of the committee. Please welcome Signe Godfrey as Finance Chair and Andrew Walden as the 2024 Presidential Caucus Chair, Brett Kulbis as Rules Committee Chair and Mary Smart as Issues, Program, Platform,/Resolutions Committee Chair.
Our party's strength lies in our diversity, commitment to conservative principles, and our unwavering belief in the values that make our great state and nation exceptional. The Hawai'i Republican Party has always been a champion of individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, and limited government, and with these newly elected leaders, we have a renewed sense of purpose to continue promoting these core values.
Let us work together to fortify our party, engage with the people of Hawai'i, and advocate for policies that will improve the lives of our fellow citizens. Let us remain focused on our goal of electing more in 2024.
