We're Fighting for the Right To Learn! "When you are surrounded by oppressive laws, that doesn't mean you just sit back and be oppressed. That means that you fight." – Dr. Dana Thompson Dorsey, speaking out against Florida's censorship law

ACLU Supporter – Class is back in full swing across the country – and so are the attacks on our right to learn. Teachers and students across the country continue to face efforts to censor discussions around race, gender, and history. But we're fighting back. The ACLU has been filing lawsuit after lawsuit against states that try to censor education. And one major case where we're fighting – and winning – is against Florida's H.B. 7 law, also known as the "Stop W.O.K.E Act." In fact, a judge already ruled in our favor this year to block the discriminatory law, which intentionally targets Black educators and students. Today, you can get a deeper, first-hand account of this ongoing fight in an interview with an educator and a student on the ground in Florida.
Thanks for helping us make this progress possible, ACLU Supporter. – The ACLU Team P.S. We're collecting stories from supporters, and we want to hear from you!
