Today is Rosh Hashanah – the Jewish new year! 🍎🍯
To me, this is the perfect time to reset, reflect, and get ready for a big
year ahead.
Like many Jews who celebrate, my family marks this holiday by eating
apples dipped in honey – a delicious toast to a happy and healthy new
year.
We will listen as our rabbi blows the Shofar – a symbolic “wake up call”
to bring the community together.
But this year’s celebrations feel different. Now more than ever –
regardless of religion, race, or identity – we need to once again feel the
warm embrace of community.
We must make this the year we heed the call to action and move beyond the
petty politics of fear and division.
Today we decide what we leave in the past and what we take with us into
the future.
So from my family to yours, we wish you a happy, healthy new year and hope
that today you can recharge and get ready for the year ahead.
With gratitude,
Zak
