96A Message from the ChairwomanRegister to Vote When we turn on the news
or scroll through the internet, we are often inundated with news about
the 2024 elections.

While next year will be crucially important, the
fact of the matter is we have critically important municipal elections
less than two months away. Local government is the government closest to
the people and thriving cities and towns are vital for our state to
continue to grow and move in the right direction.

As such, I want to
make sure that you are ready to vote in 2023.

To be prepared to
participate in the upcoming election, please visit
[link removed] indianavoters.in.gov to either register to
vote or confirm your registration. The last day to register for this
November's election is October 10, 2023. Furthermore, please take a few
minutes this weekend and share this information with your family and
friends. Getting you and your family registered to vote is an important
way to make sure Republicans are turning out this November.

With your
help, we will have another strong municipal election cycle which will be
crucial to making sure our cites and towns are set up for success.
Thank you,
Chairwoman Anne F. Hathaway

Review🗾 IN Japa Governor Eric Holcomb speaks during the 53rd Annual
Joint Meeting of the Japan-Midwest U.S. and Midwest U.S.-Japan
Associations in Tokyo.
This week, Governor Eric Holcomb was on an
international economic development trip to Japan, a trip that will mark
the his third official visit to the state’s largest foreign investor.

amount of Japanese investment per capita What he's saying: “The
Indiana-Japan relationship is storied and strong, and I look forward to
again visiting our friends in Japan and identifying new opportunities to
further grow our cultural and economic partnerships,” said Gov. Holcomb.
“Japan and Indiana share so many industry strengths and, with our
shared commitment to building economies of the future, we are together
poised to lead, innovate, and develop the future of advanced
manufacturing, energy and mobility.”While IN Japan: Gov. Holcomb spoke
to Indiana media while in Tokyo, stating he is confident that the trip
will bear fruit for Indiana.
“We were born and raised Hoosiers — I was,
at least — and kind of ‘Midwest-nice,’ and we like to be polite and be
accounted for. (But) the world’s run by those who show up. And we show
up.”What else happened this week? Gov. Holcomb ordered flags at
half-staff for Patriot Day and honored the victims of Sept. 11, 2001.

Yesterday, President
Biden chose to sell Americans a false bill of goods about what his
“Bidenomics” agenda looks like in action. He rattled off a series of
lies – but the reality of Bidenomics in action is inflation is back on
the rise, real earnings are down, gas prices are still up, and bills
for hardworking Americans are mounting.

"Indiana’s education leaders are
still chipping away at a massive redesign of Hoosier high school
curriculum and diploma requirements, but one national expert has
already lauded state officials for their work.

"The praise came
during Wednesday’s State Board of Education (SBOE) meeting from
Patricia Levesque, CEO of ExcelinEd, a national education policy
organization founded by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

"Levesque
presented board members with an analysis of high school 'rethinking'
taking place in other states — many of which are also trying to better
prepare graduates for careers in an ever-changing job market. She said
during her presentation that Indiana’s ongoing planning — and financial
backing from the state legislature — is already among the most advanced
in the nation."
