Parliament Is Back Dear John, On Monday, Parliament will begin its fall session in Canada’s capital. Pierre Poilievre and your Conservative team just wrapped up the Common Sense Conservative Convention in Quebec City and are ready to get to work fighting for you. We are fighting for powerful paycheques, against Liberal inflation, and working hard to restore the promise of Canada: that every generation will be even better off than the ones that came before. For over 150 years, this promise has been kept. It inspired our ancestors to come from afar and build this nation into what it is today. But after 8 years of Justin Trudeau, this promise is broken. Young Canadians are finding it harder than ever to afford a home or start a family, and many are starting to give up on the Canadian dream altogether. Pierre understands that we need to transform that hurt into hope. Watch Pierre’s speech with an introduction by his wife Ana at this past weekend’s Conservative Party Convention: <[link removed]> I am excited to continue in my role as the Shadow Minister for Public Safety. New statistics from StatsCan <[link removed]> show that violent crime has increased by 39% since Justin Trudeau took office. Yet his government continues to blame law-abiding hunters and farmers for rising gun violence, and allow repeat violent offenders to get bail and revictimize our communities with impunity. Conservatives will protect the rights of Canadian firearms owners and give jail, not bail, for unrepentant violent criminals. I will hold the new Liberal Minister of Public Safety to account for his government’s atrocious record and failed policies. Watch my speech on the desperate need for bail reform earlier this year: <[link removed]> The Liberals can call an election at any time. We need your help to make Pierre Poilievre the next prime Minister of Canada. If you are able, please donate here. <[link removed]> Grassroots donations to political parties receive generous tax credits. A $400 donation only costs about $100 after credit. Thank you for considering a contribution. My Conservative colleagues and I promise to work every single day in Parliament to restore the freedom, opportunity, and hope that has been taken away from so many Canadians over these long 8 years. With your help, we will bring it home.
