As we look ahead to the presidential primaries in South Carolina, Super Tuesday, and beyond, it’s so important that we unite behind whichever candidate becomes our party’s nominee.
As a former candidate for president himself in this race, Cory knows that we can’t be divided as we head into the general election. That’s why he has committed to help our party’s presidential nominee -- in whichever ways he can -- to help us win back the White House this November.

Yesterday was the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary. As we look back on one of the most critical nominating contests in this process, I have an ask for you.
At this point in the primary, the race is still very uncertain. And unfortunately, the attacks are starting to escalate both among candidates and their supporters -- pushing us further away from the unity our party will need to win back the White House.
During my own presidential campaign, I often spoke about the importance of joining together in common cause -- because we can’t go into this fight divided. The stakes are too high to repeat the same mistakes that hurt us back in 2016.
I’m asking you to please join me right now in taking a pledge to support the Democratic nominee in their fight against President Trump. Add your name if you’ll vote for our party’s candidate regardless of who wins this primary.
We saw what happened in 2016 when large parts of the Democratic base stayed at home on Election Day -- ultimately resulting in razor-thin losses in key battleground states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
No matter who comes out of this primary as our nominee, we need to have their back -- by voting, volunteering, donating, and committing to do everything we can to win in November.
I’ll be eager to support whoever we declare as our nominee at the Democratic National Convention this July. And you better believe that I’m going to do everything in my power to help that person beat Trump.
Let us not be divided in the battle to defeat the most dangerous president in modern times. I hope you’ll take this pledge to support our eventual Democratic nominee.
Democracy isn’t a spectator sport. If there was ever a time to get off the sidelines, this is it. The nightmare we’re living in demands our collective action.
