Hello and Happy Friday!
It was a busy week in Washington this week as we opened an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden and work towards preventing a government shutdown.
Tuesday, Speaker McCarthy announced he was opening an impeachment inquiry into President Biden. We know that the President’s family has gotten so much dough from the CCP that they could open a bakery in Beijing. This inquiry allows us greater subpoena power and ability to request records to show to the American people any wrongdoing by the Biden family, and whether the President was involved. We will present all the evidence to the American people because they deserve the truth. Watch more here.
For far too long, career politicians on both sides of the aisle in Washington have refused to address out-of-control government spending. Families in America have to budget and balance their checkbook, now it’s Congress time to do the same. As we come closer to a government shutdown if we can’t pass funding bills to fully fund our government, we will push Congress to be more fiscally responsible. As the mother of two kids, I understand the importance of leaving our kids a country that isn’t burdened by debt.
This week we also joined Rep. Jared Moskowitz, a Democrat from Florida, and Bret Baier on Special Report’s Common Ground segment to discuss the Biden Administration allowing the Iranian Government to receive visas for their delegation to attend next week’s meeting of the United Nations. The Iranian’s have a long record of appalling human rights violations, including their President’s role in the "Death Commissions" that massacred 30,000 political prisoners in 1988. He continues to defend these crimes against humanity and oversee ongoing efforts to assassinate dissidents both in Iran and abroad. This administration should follow the lead of both the Obama and Trump Administrations in denying them legitimacy by denying their visas to enter the United States.
Thursday, we chaired a subcommittee hearing on Artificial Intelligence and how the government can use it to transform operations. We got to hear from experts in applications of Artificial Intelligence and gained a plethora of information that will be used in crafting future AI legislation and modernizing the federal government.
