What’s happening? After a federal judge blocked a Mississippi anti-voter law that restricted mail-in ballots and targeted voters with disabilities, Mississippi Republicans are trying to lift the block so that they can suppress the vote ahead of the statewide election this November, which includes an extremely competitive race for Governor that Democrats can win — a clear indicator that this GOP-led effort is no coincidence.

What do we need to do? We must fight back against the GOP’s efforts and protect access to the ballot box so that all Mississippi residents can have a say in November’s crucial election.
