Climate Justice

In this week’s Climate Justice newsletter, we’re focusing on housing in the context of climate justice. First, from NPQ's summer issue of the magazine, an interview with Manuel Pastor on the study of economics and social movements. Next, we look at how SAJE, a Los Angeles-based tenants’ rights organization, is working to make sure tenants’ rights are protected as the city decarbonizes. Then, we visit Nigeria, where Ashdam Solar, a renewable energy company, is helping remote areas find energy independence for more sustainable living. Finally, next Thursday, September 21st, four authors from NPQ’s summer economic justice magazine come together to explore the concept of movement economies.
