There is chaos in the House right now. Speaker McCarthy and MAGA extremists like Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and other conspiracy theorists are making a mockery of our legislative body. They have taken the reins of their party and are holding the government and our economy hostage with a sham impeachment stunt.

Let me be clear: Their actions are not only embarrassing and unfitting for the offices they hold — their actions are actively harming the American people, who are counting on us to lead our nation forward.

We can't focus on important issues such as lowering healthcare costs, creating affordable housing, ending the gun violence crisis, and funding essential social programs while they control the House of Representatives.
