Wishing you and your family peace, health and success in the year ahead. Together, we'll go from strength to strength in our shared mission to secure the vital bonds between America and the Jewish State.
Every year on Rosh Hashanah, Jews around the world come together to hear the blowing of the shofar. It’s said that the shofar is like an alarm clock, intended to awake us from our slumber and remind us to rededicate ourselves to our Jewish faith.
As we close out this year, and enter a new one, the shofar also serves as a reminder of the importance of our mission together at AIPAC. It’s a call to recommit ourselves to our vital mission of keeping Israel safe and the U.S.-Israel relationship strong.
Reflecting on the past year, it’s amazing how much we’ve been able to accomplish together: helping elect more pro-Israel champions to Congress, defeating would-be detractors of the U.S.-Israel relationship, ensuring the passage of nearly $4 billion in security assistance to the Jewish state, and continuing to be an impactful voice in Washington.
We’ve done so much together, but the work to defend the partnership between America and Israel goes on. We must move forward with a renewed purpose and determination in the year to come. I hope that is what you’ll be reminded of when you hear the call of the shofar this year.
Thank you for all you’ve done, and continue to do, on behalf of the U.S.-Israel relationship. I’m incredibly grateful for the continued support you provide to AIPAC. Our work would not be possible without you.
From all of us at AIPAC, we wish you and your family peace, health and success in the year ahead.
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
