Just a short while ago, California became the first state to OFFICIALLY call for a Constitutional Amendment to make our communities safer from gun violence.

Will finding 33 more states calling to amend the Constitution be easy? No, of course not, I am clear-eyed about that.

But it will happen … eventually. And it started here. With us. Thank you for being a part of this team.

Our work becomes more and more important by the day as radical judges use a warped interpretation of our Constitution to roll back state gun safety laws in California, and across the country.

It happened just yesterday in California where a trio of conservative judges threatened to overturn our state’s ban on unlicensed open carry laws.

So in the face of decades of Congressional inaction and unelected judges that are putting Americans in danger, it is time for citizens to stand up for common sense to protect us against the epidemic of American gun violence.

We need a Constitutional Amendment on guns.
