Yesterday, I reached out to you with an honest update on our fundraising progress, and the fact that we are pacing behind our September fundraising goal was not the news I had hoped to share:

But the good news is that after I asked yesterday, hundreds of folks across the country stepped up to help us catch up to our goal — Brian from Saint Petersburg contributed $10, Stephen from Waukesha gave $100, and Georgia from Dayton added their $5.

But we still need a bit more help to cross the finish line. So I need to ask again because I know I can count on you:

Can you please contribute $3 or whatever you can afford to our movement before midnight tonight? If we can catch up to our goal today, I have no doubt that we can continue the second half of this month strong.

$3 may not seem to be the kind of money that can help us protect our democracy and elect changemaking candidates up and down the ballot.

But when you add your $3 and so do the thousands of members on this team, we will have the resources to create real and lasting change.

And we’ve proven it's possible in races in Wisconsin and Virginia already.

So, if you have $3 or a couple of extra bucks to spare for our movement today, it would mean a lot to me, this team, and the candidates we support. Because every single dollar will help us stay in this fight.
