Hazardous household waste disposal & Auburn's shopping village!   City of Auburn, Maine. Upcoming Events   NEWS FROM AUBURN, MAINE   HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE Properly disposing of hazardous household waste is critically important to our health and our environment. NEVER flush or pour hazardous materials down your drain (or into storm drains)! It's safe and easy to get rid of these items, in fact all Maine residents can dispose of cleaners, solvents, pool chemicals, pesticides, fuel, fertilizer, fire extinguishers, and more at the Lewiston Environmental Depot TOMORROW (9/16) between 8:00 & 11:45AM! Auburn residents can drop up to 10 units for free (a unit is 5 gallons or 20 lbs.).
