Pornhub Exposed Again: Leaked Emails + Undercover Investigation

It's been a bad couple weeks for Pornhub. 

Leaked emails between the CEO and his executive team exposed how the company's official policy was to only review an abuse video if it was reported over fifteen times. Meaning, if a survivor reported her abuse fifteen times, it would never even be looked at. 

Meanwhile, an undercover investigation just broke, showing a Pornhub executive admitting to a "loophole" in their verification measures, which he says rapists and sex traffickers exploited to upload criminal content.

VICTORY! CA Legislature Classifies Child Sex Trafficking as Serious Felony

SB 14, an anti-trafficking bill that NCOSE helped draft, passed California's state legislature just days before the end of session!

The bill increases penalties for child sex traffickers by classifying the offense as a serious felony. Advocates of fully decriminalizing the commercial sex trade tried to derail it in committee, but public outcry and advocacy by NCOSE and other CA groups revived the proposal.

The bill now heads to the Governor, who is expected to sign it into law.
