FSC Secures Preliminary Injunction Against Unconstitutional Texas Law
FSC and its partners have successfully obtained a preliminary injunction against Texas' HB1181 anti-pornography legislation, preventing its enforcement while it undergoes legal proceedings. Originally scheduled to take effect on September 1, this law aimed to require adult content websites to request digital IDs from users and display misleading health advisories. The court sided with FSC in acknowledging that the law infringes upon First Amendment rights, suppresses freedom of expression, and lacks the authority to enforce health warnings. Immediately after our triumph, Texas submitted a request to block the injunction, but we are pleased to announce that their request has been denied. This marks a significant triumph against online censorship and establishes a precedent against similar legislation in other states. Bias In Banking: How FSC Is Leading The Charge In Fight For Fairness
“Almost everyone in adult has a horror story,” Boden says. “A lot of it is banks either closing accounts, or refusing to open them at all. The difference between that and a bank account getting closed is that, whereas banks legally have to give it back to you at some point, those digital wallets are allowed to keep your money.” Read more on XBIZ. |

"These activists are not actually targeting trafficking; instead, they use anti-trafficking discourse as a way of targeting all forms of commercial sex. The goal of the anti-porn movement is to deplatform all sex workers." Read more on Mashable. |
