Today is the one year anniversary of the House passing H.R. 8, the bipartisan universal background checks bill.
But Mitch McConnell has blocked it single-handedly for an entire year. It’s outrageous. To make sure he gets the message loud and clear, we decided to project a reminder on the side of a building near the Capitol. Check it out:
We have had enough of Mitch McConnell’s stonewalling. He has a responsibility to put it before the Senate and give it a fair vote.
We will continue to remind him that the American people are waiting for a vote, but it takes a lot of resources to light up the side of a building.
