Friend of Israel,
This May, Palestinian terrorists in Gaza fired 1,468 rockets at Israel over five days.
Iron Dome intercepted 92% of the rockets headed for Israeli communities, but the attacks still killed two people and injured dozens; several rockets struck residential buildings, and thousands of Israelis were forced to repeatedly flee into bomb shelters.

It’s a frightening experience that most of us will hopefully never have to live through.
But can you imagine being in Israel as these attacks occurred?
Being frightened for your friends and family. Having to run toward shelter as you can visibly see rockets being intercepted over your head. Coming out of your shelter to see a room you were just in reduced to rubble?
This is the sad reality that Israeli families are far too often forced to face.

Help keep Israel safe today
Thankfully, with help from the United States, Israel has the resources needed to defend itself, by itself, in the face of these recent attacks.
This year, AIPAC activists worked with Congress to secure $3.3 billion in security assistance to Israel, as well as an additional $500 million in U.S.-Israel missile defense cooperation for lifesaving systems like Iron Dome.
But this vital U.S. support for Israel does not happen on its own – and its continuation is not guaranteed. We must advocate for it, build relationships, and engage with lawmakers across all 435 congressional districts.
