The People's Action Party has been championing women’s development since its beginning.  

On 9 September 2023, our Women’s Wing organised a focus group discussion with community partners and activists to better understand the challenges that women in Singapore face relating to caregiving, at the workplace and how young couples can be better supported to have a family.  

When we empower women, we uplift their families. We are committed to taking action and working with you to continue pushing for the change that we want to see. Watch more

In Parliament next week, our Members of Parliament will be asking questions relating to the recent cases of alleged abuse of children at childcare centres and the money laundering probe involving more than $1.8 billion in assets. Read more.
World Suicide Prevention Day (Sep 10) is an opportunity for us to have open conversations about the subject. Together with community stakeholders, the PAP will continue to push for change to reduce mental health stigma and build a more inclusive society. Read more.

Richard Hu Tsu Tau, Singapore's longest-serving finance minister,  passed away at the age of 96. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong paid tribute to Dr Hu's illustrious legacy.
