I want to let you in on my strategy for how we're going to defeat Donald Trump, take back the Senate, and keep control of the House:

It's by not merely fighting back against Trump and Congressional Republicans. It's by fighting forward.

For me, that's focusing on a bold plan like the Green New Deal that not only combats the climate crisis, but also the economic inequality that we see in this country.

It's enacting my plan for getting the federal government back in the game when it comes to equitable housing policy.

And it's creating a universal health care system that covers everyone and lowers costs for all of us.

It's making sure we're fighting for the America we believe in by ending the failed prohibition on drugs, promoting commonsense gun laws, and working to rebuild and renew our nation's infrastructure.

The bottom line: we cannot and should not merely push back on Trump. That's a failed model. The positive values that unite us – community, cooperation, respect, justice – are far more powerful.

The path to our success is providing bold solutions that Americans want and need.
