Discover Kingston Oct. 2 gathers 50 local organizations, agencies to help community get informed and involved

Get in the know about what?s happening in the North End at *Discover Kingston*, an annual community open house that takes place? 4-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2 at the Village Green Community Center, 26159 Dulay Road [ [link removed] ] NE. [ [link removed] ]?The event is coordinated by the Kingston Community Advisory Council. [ [link removed] ]

*Discover Kingston* provides residents, service providers, developers, businesses and young people the opportunity to visit with representatives from over 50 government and local nonprofit organizations to learn about projects, planning, jobs, recreational activities and much more. This is a drop-in open house so come by anytime and stay for a few minutes or a couple hours!

People can meet with county and state agencies to find out about local projects and services, and talk to service organizations, youth groups, schools and non-profits that offer family and youth activities, resources, jobs, training and volunteer opportunities. Plus *Discover Kingston* is a great place to meet neighbors, network, get informed and stay engaged in the community. Newcomers, old timers and all ages are?welcome!

This popular event has been on hiatus since 2019, due to the pandemic. The Kingston Community Advisory Council is excited to welcome everyone back to this unique once-a-year gathering in the heart of the village.??
