We’re just starting our new legislative session in Congress, and
Republicans are already hellbent on creating chaos.

Kevin McCarthy’s baseless impeachment inquiry into President Biden is
about his own short — term gain and the American people's loss. He is
giving in to the demands of the extreme MAGA right of his party in hopes
that they will not force him out of the speaker's chair.

Pramila knows it’s the American people who pay the price of this
time-wasting and absurd maneuver. That’s why we’re buckling down to raise
$17,400 to boost our fundraising efforts ahead of our mid-month deadline
tomorrow night. And in order to keep our movement running at full power —
we need all hands on deck to reach this goal.

Let’s be clear, John, McCarthy's impeachment ploy is the shiny new object that
he hopes will distract you from this simple fact: House Republicans cannot
govern. They are not able to even pass funding bills to keep the
government open — the most basic task of governing.

Kevin McCarthy has less than 11 days left to prevent a government shutdown
that results in layoffs, missed paychecks for workers, paused loans for
small businesses, and canceled flights across the country. But rather than
doing his job, he is wasting time on a political stunt.

We see clearly what he is doing. We see how wrong his priorities are. We
see the cost of having extreme MAGA Republicans in charge.

Now more than ever, we need to show up for leaders who will call out these
desperate Republican ploys for what they are — and we know Pramila is that
