Dear John,
This year, as we mark the 75th anniversary of the dawn of the nuclear age and the 50th anniversary of the Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT), we face an increasingly difficult array of challenges.
We invite you to register and participate in the 2020 Arms Control Association Annual Meeting to learn more about new developments, looming challenges, and how we can get back on the path to a safer future.
We are pleased to announce that U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Ford is confirmed as one of our keynote speakers. He will describe the U.S. approach and goals for the 2020 Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty Review Conference.
Our other speakers and panelists will address topics including:
- The uncertain future for the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty;
- How to strengthen the nonproliferation regime following the 2020 NPT Review Conference;
- The precarious condition surrounding the Iran nuclear deal; and
- How key nuclear weapons issues will play in the 2020 election debate.
Join us at the Washington Court Hotel on Capitol Hill. The conference includes a lunch buffet and post-networking reception featuring special guests.
Register by March 27 to take advantage of early-bird registration rates.
