On Tuesday, Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced that he was directing three House committees to open an impeachment inquiry into President Biden - despite the lack of any evidence - and even Republican lawmakers are calling him out.

 

 

As Kevin McCarthy struggles to maintain control of his caucus, he’s allowing the extreme right-wing members of his party to run roughshod over democratic norms and due process. All this comes as we once again face a looming budget deadline at the hands of hardline conservatives.

 

So-called Republican “leadership” has proven to be nothing more than political games and pandering, which is why we’re committed to doing everything we can to take back the House. Give today to help us get rid of Kevin McCarthy in 2024.

 

While GOP lawmakers squabble amongst themselves, Democrats have delivered for the American people. Under President Biden, we’ve passed landmark legislation that is creating American jobs, investing in American infrastructure, and moving America towards a green energy future in a responsible and practical way.

 

We need more Democratic leadership in Washington, and the road to flipping the House and keeping the White House in 2024 runs through northern Maine. We’re asking you to help us fill up our tank so we’re ready to go the distance.
