The LGBTQ+ community is no stranger to activism and advocacy. At The Center, advancing equity and social justice is critical to the fulfillment of our mission. Since our founding in 1983, we’ve been the birthplace of multiple LGBTQ+ movements and a meeting place for activists committed to change.

Join us on Tuesday, October 3, for our Fall RiseOut Action Team Social & Info Session. Build your advocacy skills through training, help plan advocacy campaigns that advance LGBTQ+ policies, and connect with other advocates in your community. Plus, you’ll meet and network with current members. 

Right now, the ACLU is tracking nearly 500 anti-LGBTQ+ bills in the U.S. Equipping community members with the information necessary to be the advocates LGBTQ+ people need in New York and nationwide can’t wait.
