Run for Something

Hi there --

It's been a long week. Here are four bright spots from our incredible alum:

  • On Tuesday, Harris County approved an immigrant legal defense fund proposed by RFS alum and Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo.
  • The Georgia State House just honored Everton Blair, the first openly gay and youngest-ever member of the Gwinnett School Board.
  • The Utica Common Council (NY) has voted to reinstate the Utica Youth Common Council, an initiative created by RFS alum Delvin Moody in 2013.
  • Minnesota representative Carlie Kotyza-Witthuhn has co-sponsored a bill that would ban pet stores from selling dogs and cats from commercial breeders and put an end to puppy mills in the state.

The investments we make in young candidates pay off for years to come. Make your investment in our future today by chipping in a few bucks.
