Mr. Rogers would always say that when a crisis strikes, “Look for the people who are trying to help”. Throughout my life, I’ve been on the scene of some of our country's most horrific tragedies. Seeing Americans come together in unity during these moments represents the best in us. What I see in Congress often represents the worst.
More than ever before, Arizona needs a helper in Congress. Our nation has real issues - ensuring a woman’s right to choose, reducing gun violence, and access to affordable healthcare. David Schweikert and his Republican colleagues are a direct threat to not only these issues, but our Democracy as a whole.
