It’s obvious: Republicans aren’t serious about governing.
On the first day Congress was back in Washington D.C., Republicans announced a baseless impeachment inquiry against President Biden AND ramped up their threats to shut down the federal government.
When real, hard-working people need Congress to take real action and advance solutions to the challenges our communities are facing — Republicans are choosing instead to do Donald Trump’s bidding and try to distract from their disastrous agenda.
We cannot allow the GOP to stand in the way of progress or hold our government hostage in search of revenge.
Time is of the essence. Whether it’s our fight for a just economy, confronting the climate crisis, cementing housing as a human right, and so much more — we have a lot of work to do this session.
Ayanna isn’t wasting time. She’s ready to tackle the real issues we’re facing and she’ll keep calling out Republicans who care more about getting payback than they do about people. She needs to know that we’re with her in this fight.
