The future of DACA is now on track to end up in the hands of the Supreme Court, increasing the urgency for lawmakers to provide a legislative solution for the program that has widespread public support.

Biden Attacks U.S. Energy Production: Cancels Alaskan Drilling Permits - The Biden Administration just announced proposed restrictions and the cancelation of seven drilling leases in Alaska's North Slope. This is yet another attack on American-made energy in President Biden's war on fossil fuels. Just a few days ago, national security adviser Jake Sullivan said that President Biden will "do everything within his toolkit" to lower gas prices. Unfortunately, this is another example of the Biden administration giving lip service to American families being crushed by high energy prices, while simultaneously implementing policies that will continue to raise costs and hand-deliver the global energy market to OPEC+. The President must reverse this decision and finally recognize the national security importance of affordable, reliable, American-made energy.

FTC’s Lawless Attempt at Regulating AI - U.S. Senate Commerce Committee Ranking Member Ted Cruz (R-Texas) sent a letter to Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Chairwoman Lina Khan seeking answers regarding her plans to regulate artificial intelligence for “disinformation” and “bias.” The letter explains that the FTC’s review of large language models used to train AI, which comes without any explicit statutory congressional authorization, may also infringe on constitutionally-protected speech.
