Friend,
Today is Starbucks Workers United Day of Action!
Friend, more than 350 stores have unionized, but Starbucks is refusing to recognize their right to collectively bargain. In fact, the billion-dollar corporation has fired more than 200 employees for union activities, closed down stores that have organized, and is even preventing union stores from using new tipping software other stores have access to.
We can send a strong message to Starbucks today -- and it doesn't even mean missing out on your pumpkin spice latte!
First, check this site to see if there is a Starbucks action local to you. If so, swing by to sign the petition in person and let the baristas know that you're with them.
Then, use the power of your social media network to spread the word! We've got ready made posts for Facebook and Twitter below, but you can click here if you want to share to your LinkedIn, Instagram, or WhatsApp!
📢 Join the movement! On September 14, let's support Starbucks Workers United Day of Action! 💪✊ Over 8,500 employees at 350+ stores have united for their rights. But Starbucks isn't playing fair, and has been accused of hundreds of labor violations by the NLRB. It's time for Starbucks Corporate to step up! ☕️🚫 Sign the petition and show CEO Laxman Narasimhan that we won't settle for less! #NoContractNoCoffee! #StarbucksWorkersUnited #UnionStrong #WorkersRights

The baristas are doing the difficult work of organizing, but as customers we can make a real difference by amplifying their efforts and demanding that Starbucks come to the table. Please share widely.
Thank you for joining the fight.
