Take to the Streets in Support of the Israeli Democracy Movement |
Many of you have asked us how you can support the Israeli protest movement across this country. Whether you live in a small town or a big city, below are Four ways to support the Saving Israeli Democracy Movement. With Israel's democracy on the line, I hope you will consider taking advantage of these opportunities to engage in expressing our love of Israel at this critical juncture. |

Send your support and say thanks to the protesters in Israel |
Ameinu is joining with several of our US-based, pro-Israel organizations to organize a "thank you" campaign to express our appreciation to pro-democracy protestors in Israel who are on the front lines fighting for Israeli democracy and our Jewish and democratic values. Put together a group such as your Ameinu chapter, Ameinu friends or synagogue, and submit a group photo thanking the protesters and telling them you support them and are fighting here in the United States as well. All photos and videos must be submitted by October 2 via this form.
Separate but relatedly, we're excited to offer your congregation a FREE large tripod banner (70in x 24in) of Israel's Declaration of Independence to put on display in your synagogue. No strings attached. We know what an incredibly busy time this is for clergy and Jewish professionals, but hopefully this complements your message and other activities during this High Holiday season.
Oh and Don’t Forget to Wear Your New Ameinu Tshirt in the Photo! |

Tell Your Member of Congress that you support House Resolution 61 |
Congresswomen Jan Schakowsky and Annie Kuster have introduced a resolution in Congress aimed at supporting Israeli democracy and opposing moves that threaten Israel’s future as a Jewish, democratic state. Persuading your representatives in Congress to support this resolution is crucial. We urge you to act now!

At Tuesday’s Israel High Court hearing, a lawyer representing the Netanyahu Government dismissed the Israeli Declaration of Independence as a “hasty” document endorsed by unelected signatories that cannot be a source of legal authority. We know that all of us in Ameinu will never stop fighting for a State of Israel that is founded on the promises of the Declaration of Independence. B’Shalom and Shanah Tovah, |
