That's the contribution I am asking you to make to The Long Run today. Let me quickly explain why:
At the end of September, we face an all-important end-of-quarter deadline for our movement — a deadline that will determine our budget for the rest of the year and which races we can continue supporting.
Tomorrow marks the midpoint of this month and by that point, we should be 33% to our goal. But the honest truth is we have been pacing behind and are going to need a lot of support to reach that number tomorrow.
I have mentioned this before, but this quarter has been the most difficult for our movement to date. The summer months are typically challenging for political fundraising, but the results we saw were far below what we expected.
And as we approach the election year, it's critical that we stay on track to hit our goals.
We have a lot of lost ground to make up, so I am counting on you to contribute $5 to help us get there.
