About the job
As a member of our Accounts Payable team within the Finance Division, you will play a vital role in maintaining the fiscal integrity of our agency. Under the guidance of State regulations, Agency policies, and Accounts Payable's established procedures, your responsibilities will include performing complex financial analysis of accounting data and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of agency accounts payable. Reporting to the DES Accounts Payable supervisor, you will collaborate with Finance Division colleagues, managers, staff from assigned agencies, and external stakeholders such as contractors and vendors. Your work will be assigned both verbally and in writing by the Fiscal Analyst 5 supervisor, and you will operate at the Journey level, adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), State regulations, and the Department of Enterprise Services' policies and procedures. This role is essential to the efficient financial operation of our agency.
