"McCarthy, Under Threat From Right, Orders Biden Impeachment Inquiry"

You read that right, Johh. Kevin McCarthy just launched an unfounded impeachment inquiry on President Biden to appease extremists in his party with no evidence and, despite his promises, with no vote.

The reality is that for 9 months, House Republicans have been investigating President Biden and found no evidence of wrongdoing. This impeachment inquiry is not based on justice or accountability, but on appeasing Donald Trump and distracting us from a potential government shutdown.

This is an embarrassment to our country and shows that these Republicans are unfit to govern.

But we shouldn't be surprised, Johh. Kevin McCarthy owes his speakership to MAGA extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Jim Jordan, and Matt Gaetz. Over and over again, he has put party over country to become their personal puppet on the podium and score political points.

If we let them, I know these far-right MAGA Republicans will continue to hold our agenda hostage and Kevin McCarthy will spinelessly continue to cave to their every demand. In their time in the House majority, Kevin McCarthy and the GOP have shown that they are not fit to lead.

But that's why it's so important to continue standing up to them AND be ready to take back the House in 2024.
