The Truth About Assisted Suicide: National Suicide Prevention Week

Ordinarily, when we think of loved ones or others that are having suicidal ideations, we would expect the medical community to direct them toward prevention and mental health before it’s too late. In fact, we expect the medical community to do no harm…

But, many states allow trusted medical professionals to offer assisted suicide to patients. And now, that offer is being made at a higher rate towards patients with a certain status, such as  those with disabilities.

In recognition of National Suicide Prevention Week, Family Policy Alliance’s Ruth Ward sat down with Matt Vallière, Executive Director of Patients' Rights Action Fund and Institute for Patients' Rights, to break down the alarming truth about assisted suicide in America. Tune in today to learn more about what Christians can do to help.
