Please join us in congratulating Administrative Law Judge James E. LaFave on his upcoming retirement. After an amazing career at OAH, Judge LaFave will retire on December 5, 2023.

Judge LaFave joined OAH as a contract Administrative Law Judge in 2005 and has served on our bench full-time since 2012. 

In retirement, Judge LaFave is looking forward to traveling with his wife, playing more bridge, and spending more time with his new puppy.
