Elizha* is a widow and mother of seven children. Despite her best attempts to provide for her children, war has ravaged their lives.

For the past nine years, their country has been overwhelmed by a civil war that has left millions displaced and created one of the worst humanitarian crises of the century.

When our local Unto^® team met Elizha and her children, they were living in a camp for the internally displaced. She told us, “I tried to find a job many times, but unfortunately, I couldn’t because I am an illiterate woman.”

Thankfully, people like you stepped in to help. Our local staff members were able to provide the family with meals. Elizha was overjoyed! She shared:

“When I received the assistance, I couldn’t believe that we would have enough food for several weeks! I became hopeful and regained my desire to live longer. May God protect you and keep you safe.”
