Donate now([link removed])Dear John,
Thousands are believed dead, and many more missing, following devastating floods in Libya set off by powerful Storm Daniel. There is wreckage everywhere: buildings have collapsed, and entire neighbourhoods have been submerged after two dams burst in Derna – around a quarter of the city is under water.
Families are in desperate need of help. Their homes have been swept away, leaving them with nothing.Donate now: [link removed]
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is responding to the situation in Libya, working closely with national and international partners. We’ve dispatched emergency supplies – including thousands of tarpaulins, blankets, solar lamps and soap – are deploying an emergency team and activating an emergency hotline. We’re also reaching out to refugees and asylum seekers in affected areas.
But our work doesn’t stop there. We need your assistance to scale up our response to this tragedy. Your support will mean a lot.
You can help deliver urgent support to displaced families. Your gift can change lives by delivering critical aid to people forced to flee.([link removed])Thank you for your support, and for standing with refugees at this critical time of need.
