CONGRATULATIONS TO
THE BLUE GALA 2020 COMMITTEE!

The Blue Gala 2020 was a HUGE success!  Thank you to the Leadership Team of Steve and Josie Lieberman who made the event a night to remember.  They and their committee did a superb job from start to finish!  340 attendees enjoyed cocktails on the veranda watching the sun set, a large silent auction, delicious dinner, engaging speakers and dancing at the Moorings on Sunday evening.   We are so thankful for all the support and were excited to see so many Democrats coming together!

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE OFFICE?

The Data Team is coming to the end of printing the pre-filled Vote By Mail forms for every precinct in the county.  Next week we will begin formally organizing our canvassing plan.  If you would like to help us with this important initiative, please email Stacey at [email protected].

The Voter Protection team is hard at work preparing training for the poll watchers who will volunteer for early voting in the Presidential Primary.

The Precinct Action Committee (formerly Precinct Taskforce) is meeting weekly now to ensure our precinct captains are supported and successful.

The office is busy analyzing what volunteer positions are needed in the upcoming months.  It will take dedicated, long term volunteers to make sure we achieve our goals.

Everything you wanted to know about Precinct Captains at next Club meeting

The next meeting of the Democratic Club on March 10th will feature guest speaker Rita Milelli speaking on “Precinctology – The Art and Science of Engaging all Democrats in the Democratic Process”.  Rita, who leads our precinct captain action committee, will explain how vital our precinct captain system is for getting out the vote.  Following Rita’s presentation we will have a mock caucus exercise for the Florida presidential primary candidates. It will be fun to see how close our results are to the results on March17th.

Join us for our monthly meeting at 6:00 p.m. on  Tuesday, March 10 at the Irish American Society, 1314 20th St., Vero Beach.
