Five years ago, I won the honor of being the Democratic nominee to represent District 13 in the State Senate. I can’t tell you what it means to me that my neighbors have placed their trust in me since that day in 2018. 

I’ve officially announced that I’m running for re-election in 2024. Thanks to your faith and your support, I have been able to champion historic legislation - including granting farm workers the right to organize, passing a $2.1 billion Excluded Workers Fund, expanding access to childcare, and raising the minimum wage.
